For public and semi-private golf courses
The golf cart maintenance log for your cart barn
CartBarn Log is golf cart fleet management software for golf courses that logs daily cart checks, battery watering, damage at cart return and every repair by cart number. Know which carts are down before the first tee time, from any phone, for any brand of cart.
No card needed to start. Works with Club Car, E-Z-GO and Yamaha fleets.

Ready to go out
A day without a log
Paper check sheets and a whiteboard can't answer the questions that cost you money
6:30 am
The first tee time is at seven and nobody is sure which carts are dead, which have a soft tire, and which one came back with a cracked windshield last night.
2:15 pm
A foursome brings cart 37 back with a crushed bag well. The golfer is in the parking lot before anyone writes down the cart number or the tee time.
Lease end
The lease company wants a decision on 60 carts. The repair history is on clipboards, in the mechanic's head, and in a text thread.
Every cart on the line has a number. CartBarn Log keeps its checks, its battery readings, its damage and its repairs under that number.
What gets logged
Six records your cart barn already keeps, in one place
- Golf cart maintenance log per cart
- Tires, brakes, batteries, body and electrical work, each logged against the cart number with parts, cost and labor hours. Open a cart and its whole history is on one page.
- Golf cart battery maintenance log
- Log watering, pack voltage and the lowest cell reading. Lead-acid carts with no check in two weeks show up on a watering list, oldest first.
- Cart barn checklist
- A quick morning walk-around per cart: charged, tires, brakes, clean, damage. A cart that fails its brake check comes off the board by itself. On Pro and Club.
- Golf cart damage report at return
- Area, severity, what happened, the tee time and a photo, tied to the cart. Unsafe damage takes the cart out of service on the spot.
- Repair cost per cart
- Parts and hours added up per cart and sorted by cost, so the carts worth keeping at lease end are easy to pick out.
- Any make, any power
- Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha or a mix; gas, lead-acid or lithium. Nothing to install on the carts and no screens to buy.

Golf cart damage report
Damage tied to the cart and the tee time, before the golfer leaves
A cracked windshield found the next morning is anybody's. One logged at the return lane, with the cart number, the tee time and a photo, is a charge the course can stand behind, and a repair the mechanic sees right away.

- 02Add the tee time and a phone photo
- 03Unsafe damage pulls the cart off the board; the mechanic opens the repair from the report

Questions from GMs and mechanics
Golf cart maintenance, answered
- How often should a golf cart be serviced?
- Most fleet carts get a quick check every day they go out, battery watering and a voltage check every one to two weeks for lead-acid packs, and a full service (brakes, tires, steering, electrical or engine) a few times a season. CartBarn Log keeps the daily checks, the battery log and every service on file per cart.
- What goes on a golf cart maintenance checklist?
- Our daily walk-around covers whether the cart is charged or fueled, tire condition, brakes, cleanliness and any new damage, with a notes line. Anything that fails is visible to the mechanic, and failed brakes take the cart off the fleet board.
- Is this golf cart fleet management software or a maintenance log?
- It is a maintenance log built around the fleet board: which carts are in service, which are down and why. It doesn't track carts on the course by GPS; it covers the checks, batteries, damage and repairs that GPS systems leave out, for any brand.
- How does a damage report at cart return work?
- On the Club plan, pro shop staff get their own login. They pick the cart number, enter the tee time, choose the damaged area and severity, and take a photo with the phone camera. The general manager reviews it and marks it charged back if the course bills the golfer.
- Can we import our cart list?
- Yes. Paste it from Excel or Google Sheets with cart number, make, year, power type, serial and lease end, and the carts are added in one go. Every log exports to CSV.
- What happens after the 14-day trial?
- You pick a plan on the billing page. If you don't, nothing is deleted: every cart and record stays readable and exportable, you just can't add new ones until a plan is active.
